Regular slotted containers

Though the Regular Slotted Container is the most commonly used box style it has a highly effective design, with minimum manufacturing waste, which in turn significantly reduces production and distribution costs. All the flaps are of the same length and the two outer flaps are one-half of the container’s width, enabling them to meet smoothly in the center when closed. This is why it is considered the most economical solution for shipping, storage, and retail packaging. The Regular Slotted Container or RSC boxes are generally single walls, but if additional protection is required, the board can be doubled or tripled to create a stronger wall. A pad can be placed between the two inner flaps which creates an additional cushioning for the product placed inside the container. Tape, staples, or glue are always required to close RSC boxes. The RSC design also makes it perfect for many applications and can be easily customised for any industry, such as the packaging of electronic supplies, food and beverages, and books, magazines and catalogues. Further RSCs can be used as custom shipping boxes, moving boxes, storage containers and can be adapt for product packaging. The finish of the boxes can be customised to suit the budget and requirement of individual customers. Thanks to its convenient design it can be assembled easily and quickly which is why RSC boxes have retained their popularity. They are also known as being an environmentally friendly option.
