Wimro Packaging Industries was established in 2003 and is the brainchild of Managing Director D.W. Abeysinghe. He visualized and conceptualized the company’s growth and future in corrugated cartons packaging. November 28th, 2003 marked the beginning of Wimro Packaging Industries’ successful journey, as the first bulk of cartons were released. A pioneer in the manufacture of top-quality corrugated cartons, the company consists of 15 administrative staff, 50 machine operators, and other essential staff. 

All the sophisticated machines used in the production process are from Japan, China, India and Korea. In addition, the major raw materials such as paper, are imported from France, Indonesia, Thailand, South Africa, Malaysia, and Dubai. We also own a machine with the necessary technology to produce corrugated cartons with high quality prints.

Within just 20 years of inception, the company recorded a total turnover capacity exceeding 500 MT per month. As a company that serves export market suppliers, we recently commenced a tier scheme to provide export customers with a concessionary rate. While catering to the export market, Wimro also serves our local customers above and beyond their expectations. To ensure complete satisfaction.
